Hygiene Technician / Grease Hygiene Technician – Team Leader Our client is a specialist contractor in cleaning and ventilation services, currently seeking a dedicated candidate to join the Hygiene Technician division / Grease Hygiene division. There clients include leading national hotel groups, restaurant chains, and food-on-the-go brands, all committed to maintaining the highest hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: - Travel to various client sites across the UK to deliver hygiene services - Clean ventilation systems including canopies, ductwork, and fan units in line with TR19 standards - Install access panels where necessary to support compliance and maintenance - Work safely in confined spaces and at height, adhering to site-specific protocols - Communicate professionally with clients to ensure clarity and satisfaction - Conduct thorough risk assessments prior to commencing work - Comply with all relevant health and safety regulations and company procedures Candidate Requirements: - Full UK driving licence - Experience working at height and in confined spaces is advantageous - Must hold a General Hygiene Technician (GHT) qualification with experience with TR19 ductwork cleaning - Proven ability to lead and motivate a team - Willingness to work flexible hours – shifts typically begin late afternoon/early evening and may involve overnight stays - Strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and commitment to quality What We Offer: - Competitive starting salary: £27,500 – £30,000 (dependent on experience) - Based in the Birmingham/Lichfield area - Company Van - Structured shift pattern: alternating 4-day and 5-day working weeks, with every other Friday off - Semi-flexible evening ight shifts - 4 weeks annual leave plus bank holidays - Health Shield plan for wellbeing support JBRP1_UKTJ
