The team for this role is based in our Cardiff office, and a hybrid employment contract will be provided as the standard offering. However, remote contracts may be considered as an exception whereby commuting to the office location of your team is not reasonably practicable. Person specification Were looking for the following experience and technical skills, which will be assessed at sift and at interview. The successful candidate will have experience of: Incident/Problem resolution and root cause analysis Problem resolution via coding and scripting Adhoc reporting and data management. Proven experience within an IT environment (preferably in an Ops environment), and of leading a technical team System software build and release - Automation of manual processes, including code deployment and environment provisioning. Setting up performance monitoring / alerting / tuning for web-based services and APIs. Coaching and supporting colleagues in non-functional requirements, ensuring availability, security, capacity, and performance for the services. Engaging in continuous improvement activities by working collaboratively within and outside of the team.
