Job Title: Resource Base Manager Type: Interim | 5 days on-site Location: Southwest England Organisation Overview: Our client is a values-led primary education provider offering an inclusive learning environment within an EYFS-KS2 setting. The school is committed to supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a nurturing, trauma-informed approach that enables children to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. Role Summary: Seeking a highly organised, motivated and compassionate teacher to support pupils within a specialist Resource Base provision. This interim role involves working with children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality teaching and targeted SEMH support to meet a wide range of individual needs. Responsibilities: Teach and support pupils within a specialist SEMH Resource Base Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with EYFS and KS1-KS2 curricula Implement trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation and wellbeing. Provide inclusive support for pupils with a range of SEND needs Contribute to planning, reviewing and supporting EHCP outcomes Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals Maintain high expectations to ensure all pupils can succeed Essential Skills & Experience: Qualified teacher with experience in a primary school setting (EYFS-KS2) Strong understanding of SEMH and SEND support strategies Knowledge of trauma-informed and social-emotional learning approaches Experience or willingness to learn EYFS continuous provision planning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Reflective practitioner committed to professional development Desirable Skills & Experience: Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs, including annual review processes Previous experience in a Resource Base or specialist provision Strong multi-agency working experience Confident in leading small-group or individualised interventions If you are a dedicated and empathetic teacher seeking an interim opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of SEMH pupils, we invite you to submit your CV for consideration.
