Santander WM&I 2026 Summer Internship Program - London Country: DEVA - SANTANDER ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS (SAM UK) Real Estate Equity, Real Estate Debt & Corporate Capital Solutions Intern - Real Estate Investments, London June - July 2026 About Deva - Santander Alternative Investments ( Deva-SAI ) Deva-SAI is the Real Estate and Corporate Capital Solutions investment arm within Santander Alternative Investments (SAI) . Deva manages 1.6bn across two real estate verticals ( Real Estate Equity and Real Estate Debt ) and Corporate Capital Solutions , with more than 1.3bn deployed (c.1bn since 2023) across over ten countries. The team consists of 50+ professionals across London, Madrid, and New York, with a cycle-tested track record in underwriting and executing complex, multi-jurisdictional transactions. Deva-SAI sits within Santander Alternative Investments , a 10bn alternatives platform backed by over 4.4bn of Santander Group co-investment , spanning private credit, real assets, infrastructure, private equity, and GP stakes. What you will gain from this experience We have an exciting 2-month summer Internship opportunity that will provide hands-on experience within our Real Estate Team in London. Interns will contribute directly to live transactions, market analysis, modelling, and portfolio work within a high-performing, senior-led team. This is a program designed for students seeking deep exposure to real estate private equity, real estate credit, and corporate special situations within a global alternatives platform. You will be part of the Investment 20/20 Summer Insights Programme and have the opportunity to develop your industry knowledge through series of interactive virtual seminars with senior industry professionals. Internship location Based in London, you will become part of an international business working with teams across different geographies. What You Will Do Support underwriting for live real estate and corporate transactions Assist with cash-flow modelling, sensitivities, market research, and valuation work Prepare investment committee materials and internal analysis Help with asset-level and sponsor-level diligence across multiple European markets Contribute to portfolio monitoring, reporting, and performance tracking Participate in thematic research and strategy development across Deva-SAI What We Are Looking For Ready to start the two month summer program in June 2026 Undergraduate finishing your studies in summer 2027 (Going into your final year at university or a Masters degree after the internship). Strong analytical skills Confident using the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Excel Familiarity with financial modelling- whether through coursework, internships, or practical experience. Interest in real estate, private credit, corporate finance, and alternative investments Clear written and verbal communication High attention to detail and ability to take ownership Ability to plan your time and manage competing priorities within a fast-paced environment Candidates who progress through the interview process can expect to undertake a technical assessment including Excel modelling. In addition to the above, the successful candidate will have passed their 18th birthday and be eligible to work in the UK.
