This position is ideal for an individual currently working at Semi-Senior or Audit senior level who is ready to take the next step and manage their own client portfolio.As an Audit senior, you will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, managing workflow, reviewing work completed by team members, and delivering accurate and insightful financial reporting for a wide variety of SME clients. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional to move into a more client-focused and advisory-driven position.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and grow your own portfolio of clients, providing a high standard of service and adviceReview accounts and VAT work produced by the team, ensuring accuracy and complianceDeliver proactive business advice and practical solutions to clientsBuild long-term, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues across the firmMentor and support junior team members, helping them progress in their careersEnsure all work adheres to statutory, ethical, and professional standardsContribute to ongoing improvements, efficiency, and technology adoption across the teamKey RequirementsAAT qualified or ACCA/ACA part-qualified (or equivalent)Proven experience in an accountancy practice, including preparation of year-end accounts, VAT returns, and management accountsAdditional RequirementsExcellent communication abilities and strong client relationship skillsCommercially minded with a proactive, professional approachConfident using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similarThis opportunity is perfect for a motivated Audit senior looking to advance their career, take ownership of a varied portfolio, and play a key role in supporting clients.
