We’re looking for friendly, confident, and motivated individuals to join our Buyer Services Team in Chelmsford. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for someone with previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or another customer-facing role who is looking to move into a professional office-based, Monday-to-Friday position.The RoleAs an Account Executive within the Buyer Services team, you’ll spend your time speaking to our vehicle buyers, building rapport, answering queries, and encouraging engagement with our auctions and online services. This role is heavily focused on telephone-based customer service and outbound engagement, making it perfect for someone who enjoys talking to people and delivering a great customer experience.You’ll be supported by an experienced team and given full training, so while previous automotive or remarketing experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.What You’ll Be DoingYou will make regular inbound and outbound calls to buyers, building positive relationships and acting as a key point of contact. You will support buyers with auction attendance, registrations, and general queries, ensuring they feel confident and informed. You will encourage buyer participation through telephone engagement, including promoting upcoming auctions, online bidding, and proxy bids. You will provide post-sale support and follow-up to ensure a smooth customer journey, updating systems accurately and supporting basic reporting and administration. You will work closely with colleagues across Buyer Services, Sales, and Operations to deliver a consistent and high-quality service.What We’re Looking ForThis role suits someone who is confident on the phone, enjoys helping people, and takes pride in delivering excellent service.We’re looking for candidates who have experience in customer service or hospitality, such as retail, call centres, hotels, bars, restaurants, or front-of-house roles. You should be a strong communicator with a friendly and professional telephone manner. You should be organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple conversations and tasks. You should be happy working in a fast-paced environment while always putting the customer first. Basic IT skills and confidence using systems and databases are essential.
