At Citco, this people-centric philosophy is the core of who we are—and it shines through in everything we do, every day.ResponsibilitiesAbout the Role:Citco’s Group Risk Management function develops and implements frameworks for managing risk across the different business lines providing risk management expertise, reporting and oversight as part of the second line of defence.We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has a keen interest in risk management, in particular financial risk (credit risk, market risk and liquidity risk) and is looking to gain further experience.The person will be joining a small team that focuses on identifying, monitoring, reporting and managing of financial risks within the Citco Group of Companies with the main area of focus on the Banking Services Division with banks based in the Netherlands, Canada, Cayman Islands and Curacao.The role is for someone who is eager to learn and is comfortable with numbers to develop and become a subject matter expert within the team for risk analysis and quantitative analysis tools utilising Excel, Access, VBA and SQL skills.Your RoleDevelop and improve analytical and reporting tools in line with regulatory and business needs for Credit, Liquidity and Market RiskProduce reliable, consistent and concise reporting on credit and liquidity risk factors for risk managers and senior business managementIdentify and escalate potential issues to risk managers and business ownersProvide Risk updates to groups within the first and second lines in a variety of risk governance forums including Risk, ALCO and Credit CommitteesCompile and investigate Key Risks and Early Warning IndicatorsProvide quantitative and qualitative support to the design, development, implementation and communication of new and existing enterprise-wide risk and control initiatives.QualificationsAbout You:You will have a degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experienceMust be highly numerate and have a logical, analytical and thorough approachWorking experience with Microsoft Excel required, experience with Microsoft Access a plusKnowledge of SQL and Visual Basic is desirableGood communication and interpersonal skills are essentialAbility to keep calm and priorities work under pressureInterested in modelling the impacts from Global Regulatory DevelopmentsExcellent attention to detailAdaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolutionOur BenefitsYour well-being is of paramount importance to us, and central to our success.
