Position – Senior Commercial Key Account HandlerLocation – Orpington Salary – Negotiable plus benefitsOverviewWe are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Key Account Handler to join our professional and welcoming team in Orpington.We offer high quality, specialist products to Personal and Commercial clients throughout the UK. This is the perfect role for someone with previous experience in either a commercial/corporate broker or insurance company looking to develop their commercial insurance skills and their career.Working alongside like minded and experienced insurance brokers this is a long term opportunity with a ‘forever company’ that will provide career progression and security.Day to dayWorking alongside Account Executives to retain and generate new business, in line with or in excess of, company targetsObtaining new business/renewal terms, negotiating and closing with Insurers Create documents for new customers, along with any mid-term adjustments and renewals information too.Ensure all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto system in a timely fashionChecking policy documents, covers, endorsements etc. to ensure that they are correct and in line with the customer’s needs.Attending customer meetings and preparing meeting minutesWorking on all aspects of account management and service delivery to customers, ensuring customers’ needs are identified and met in line with agreed service standardsManage all day-to-day queries, renewals, amendments and mid-term adjustmentsBuild and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, teams and insurers to provide best in class service and drive growthSharing ideas to develop our proposition at a senior level and impact change across junior members of the teamMentoring less experienced colleagues to develop and rive high standardsOpportunities to provide training sessions to junior team members in conjunction with training teamMaintaining day to day Compliance procedures for FCA Regulation Maintain a detailed understanding of changing market condition and understands and complies with all compliance, professional and transparency standards to better serve clients Incoming and outbound call handing - new and existing customersThis role offers hybrid working once initial training plan has been completed with an expectation to be in the office only three times a week thereafterWhat’s on offerNegotiable basic salaryWide range of additional addon benefits and discountsYour ExperienceCommercial Insurance Broking experienceNegotiation skills Effective communication - both written and verbalAbility to work alone and as part of a teamHigh attention to detailForm and develop strong insurer and client relationshipsHigh level customer service skillsTime management and organisational skillsAnalytical and problem solving skills
