You are responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while contributing technical expertise during the sales cycle.This role blends hands-on system implementation, technical consulting, and solution design, ensuring customer requirements align with Shipsation product capabilities and architectural standards.We work at scale and pace, with modern architecture patterns, a flat engineering culture, and empowered, autonomous teams. Energy, ownership, and customer obsession are core parts of our culture—and we love working with like-minded people.What will you be doing?Pre-Sales & CommercialSupport the Commercial team by defining high-level solution requirements and providing technical input during RFPs and sales cycles.Present product capabilities and integration approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences.Solution DesignLead discovery workshops to gather and challenge business requirements.Perform gap analysis and translate needs into clear, scalable solution designs.Produce functional and non-functional design documentation, including API specifications, data mapping, and sequence diagrams.Align customer solutions with Product, Architecture, and Technology teams.Implementation & DeliveryOwn technical delivery from project kick-off through post-go-live.Facilitate integrations, configure the platform, and troubleshoot SOAP/XML and REST/JSON issues.Liaise with customers, carriers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.Produce high-quality customer-facing documentation and ensure adherence to delivery standards.Continuous Improvement Contribute to knowledge bases, FAQs, and technical articles.Maintain deep expertise in Shipstation product, carrier integrations, and e-commerce technologies.What are we looking for?Strong proficiency in gathering and documenting business & technical requirements.Ability to challenge requirements constructively and explain the underlying business impact.Experience in translating complex or ambiguous requirements into clear solution designs.Confident communicator able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience working directly with customers in technical or consulting roles.Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to manage multiple clients/projects simultaneously.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.Solid understanding of integration patterns and interface design (SOAP/XML, REST/JSON).Hands-on experience with API troubleshooting (SOAP UI, Postman).Experience with business process mapping, system configuration, and testing activities.Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.Ability to manage evolving requirements and maintain version-controlled documentation.Experience producing project artefacts: implementation plans, SOWs, PID, project communications.Strong influencing skills to manage expectations and achieve customer satisfaction.What will make you stand out?Previous knowledge around e-commerce and supply chain.Previous experience with SOAP/SOAP UI or REST/POSTMAN and XML/JSONAgile software development life cycle familiarity and experience.JIRA software and project & problem management.What do we offer?
