FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Full-time | London (Hybrid)£60-70kOur client is a London-based special events and experiences studio creating standout projects across the fashion, luxury and lifestyle industries. From global fashion shows and immersive brand experiences to live broadcasts, pop-ups and large-scale events, their work is bold, creative and international.They are now looking for an experienced Financial Controller to bring clarity, control and commercial insight to the heart of the business.THE ROLEThis is a hands-on role for a qualified accountant with strong technical expertise and experience operating at Financial Controller or Head of Finance level. You will own the day-to-day financial operations while acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership, supporting growth and ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong financial controls.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage daily financial operations, including AP/AR and reconciliationsDevelop and oversee budgets, driving cost control and efficiencyPrepare core financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)Process invoices, receipts and payments across UK, Italian and US entitiesSupport payroll, expenses, VAT returns and statutory complianceImprove internal processes and financial controlsEXPERIENCE & TRAITSACA / ACCA qualified (preferred)Proven Financial Controller or Head of Finance experience, ideally in Events or HospitalityStrong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principlesProficient in Xero with excellent Excel skillsHighly organised, detail-focused and commercially awareConfident communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced creative environmentPACKAGE & STRUCTURE23 days holiday plus bank holidaysHybrid working: minimum three days in the office6-month probation with quarterly development reviewsReporting directly to the Studio DirectorIf you’re excited by the idea of supporting world-class creative work with rigorous, intelligent financial leadership, this role offers a rare opportunity to make a real impact.
