Based in the purpose-built laboratories at the Daresbury Science Park, your role will be to support the development and scale-up of Croda’s rapidly expanding Biotechnology pipeline.Who We’re Looking ForAt Croda, we believe our people are the heart of our success. PhD with experience in microbiology, biotechnology or chemical engineering discipline Experience in developing scalable microbial cell culture processes in a laboratory, pilot plant and/or production environment Technical background in strain engineering of fungi, including culture and genetic manipulation. Advanced molecular biology skills, including cloning, DNA & RNA manipulation, and organism transformation. You will have strong communication and networking skills. Hands-on experience using a wide range of microbial systems comprising of more than one bacterial, fungal and yeast processes Experience in development and/or scale-up of downstream process at laboratory and/or pilot scale Experience in transferring bioprocesses to industrial plants.What You’ll Be DoingBe part of a team that values diversity, sustainability, and continuous innovation, where your ideas and contributions matter.
