We have strong staff retention and are looking for someone who is excited to grow within the agency, deliver for their clients and be part of a wonderful team.The roleA fantastic role has become available for an experienced Senior PR Manager or Account Director to join the Black Diamond Travel PR team, offering the right candidate the opportunity to excel within a fast-paced small team and a dynamic hands-on agency.The role will support the senior team with agency development, as well as work closely with the wider PR and trade team across a range of exciting client accounts. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day PR activities, including managing junior team members, providing strategic support for clients, creative story pitching, planning and hosting press trips as well as developing strong relationships with the media.No day to day is the same at Black Diamond, but the role will involve:Managing some of the industry’s best destination accounts from around the worldKeeping on top of key industry news, important developments within PR and media trendsCalling on your solid network of key contacts within travel and lifestyle media, on and off-linePresenting confidently to clients, be it on new campaign ideas or wrap-reportsWorking on influencer projects and broadcast campaignsDelivering a robust calendar of individual and group media visitsProactive and reactive media relations with UK & Irish pressCollaborating with our trade and marketing teams to deliver integrated campaignsOrganising media missions and meetings when clients are in-marketUnderstanding financial management and forecastingIdentifying growth opportunities within existing clients and new opportunitiesManaging junior team members and helping with mentorship and growthSupporting on new business pitches with writing and presentingAbout youYou will be a skilled communicator and writer, with experience of working within a press office team and a strong book of media contacts. Having an understanding and interest of the ever-changing media and travel landscape will be an advantage and you must have an ability to gain stand-out coverage and think creatively.Ideally you will have experience working in the travel industry, but a willingness to learn and be passionate about your clients is more important than previous industry experience - we’re always eager to hear from candidates who think differently and creatively.You must be able to multi-task, have excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
