Job Title: Internal Communications OfficerSalary: c.£34,000 pro rata, dependent on skills and experienceLocation: Stoneleigh, Warwickshire with agile workingWorking Hours: 3 days, 21 hours per weekContract Type: PermanentThe National Farmers’ Union (NFU) is the biggest farming organisation in the UK. We're proud to make a difference for all our members, by shaping attitudes towards British farming and leading the charge on a range of major issues, from climate change and food standards to rural crime and broadband rollout.Purpose of the role & how you will contribute:As Internal Communications Officer, you’ll help to shape and deliver engaging internal communications that keep NFU colleagues and our Group Secretary Network connected, informed and inspired. You’ll create clear, accessible content across a variety of digital and offline channels, including an intranet and e-newsletters and support the delivery of events and activities across teams.You will enjoy spotting proactive opportunities to share key organisational news and build strong internal relationships in line with our NFU Values and business priorities.What you’ll bring:You’ll bring experience of planning and delivering internal communications that have a measurable impact, managing and creating intranet content and using digital tools to reach diverse audiences. Confident and diplomatic, you can translate complex issues into engaging messages and present to colleagues at all levels. You’ll be highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects, problem-solve, work at pace and under pressure, while remaining calm and with a positive, can-do approach.
