This is a hands-on role ideal for candidates with strong technical skills and a passion for fine art logistics, supporting high-profile installations and gallery operations in one of the world’s foremost art markets.What You’ll Be DoingInstalling and de-installing artworks for exhibitions, fairs, and private viewingsHandling a wide range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and mixed mediaPacking and crating works securely for transport and storageWorking closely with curators, artists, and registrars on layout and placementManaging condition reporting and photographic documentationAssembling plinths, vitrines, and exhibition hardwareTransporting artworks safely between locations using gallery vehicles or couriersSupervising on-site logistics during installs and deinstallsSupporting warehouse operations including inventory and storage handlingMaintaining tools, equipment, and workshop suppliesAssisting with artwork checks and insurance documentationEnsuring best practices in health and safety during all handling tasksWhat We’re Looking ForProven experience in art handling within a gallery, museum, or fine art logistics companyStrong technical skills in art installation, packing, and transportFamiliarity with handling contemporary and fragile artworksExcellent attention to detail and time managementAbility to work independently and collaboratively under pressureKnowledge of health and safety procedures in art environments
