Retail Village SupervisorAn exciting opportunity has arisen within the Anya Hindmarch Village, for a Retail Supervisor. The Village consist of 6 stores on Pont street, and a flagship store on Sloane Street. The exciting and fast paced environment requires a charismatic Supervisor with a passion for retail and hospitality to ensure that every visitor to the Village or Sloane Street has an incredible customer experience. We are looking for someone who can support the General Retail Manager with wider retail projects, as well as providing support over rota-ed weekends.Since launching in 2021 the Village has been at the heart of our retail activity with the close community of neighbouring stores.Reporting to – General Retail ManagerLocation – SW1XHours – 5 days a week (Monday to Sunday)THE BRANDAnya Hindmarch founded her business in London in 1987 and it has since grown into a global brand. The work around sustainability continues, paying heed to the mantra, ‘progress, not perfection.’SPECIFIC DUTIESDrive sales across all stores to achieve company targets, identifying opportunities and presenting recommendations to the Head of Retail and General Retail Manager.Nurture existing and develop new customer relationships through effective outreach, clienteling, communication channels, and in-person appointments.Monitor uniform and presentation standards across the retail team, ensuring alignment with brand expectations.Act as a brand ambassador, consistently embodying company values and setting an example for the team.Ensure an exceptional customer experience at all times, coaching and supporting the team to uphold sales floor standards.Maintain high back-of-house standards, ensuring stockroom organisation, product coding accuracy, and overall stock safety.Uphold impeccable product presentation in all stores, following merchandising guidelines and collaborating closely with the VM team.Lead and support the team through daily morning meetings, including target setting, performance updates, and clienteling focus. Monitor individual performance and provide coaching and training where needed.Ensure the team is fully trained in till procedures and in-store operations, with a strong focus on stock integrity and accuracy.Oversee weekly cycle counts and bi-annual stocktakes to maintain accurate stock levels.Assist the General Retail Manager with onboarding and training new starters.Oversee and support the team with end-of-day procedures, ensuring accurate reporting and a successful close of the trading day.Manage deliveries, stock movement, and transfers, resolving any discrepancies promptly.Ensure the shop floor is restocked daily, including product and packaging, in preparation for trading.Communicate stock and consumables needs to the General Retail Manager in line with delivery lead times.Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for colleagues and customers.Support additional retail projects as required, including Village Hall activations.EQUAL OPPORTUNITIESAnya Hindmarch is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
