OverviewPhysiotherapistDuchy Hospital24 Hours & PermanentSalary: Up to £31,000.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join their team of staff in the Physiotherapy department.This is a part- time role for 24 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Duties Of This Role IncludeAssess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic, or post-surgical conditions (dependent on setting). Formulate individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals. Use a range of therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy, and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury or deterioration. Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds, and discharge planning as appropriate. Refer patients to other services where required (e.g., hydrotherapy, pain management, or community rehabilitation). Manage your own caseload efficiently, working flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings as required.Applicants Should Meet The Following CriteriaBSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification). HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist. Member of the Chartered Society of PhysiotherapyStrong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques, and evidence-based practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
