Financial Audit Lead | Healthcare Provider£50,000 p.a Cardiff (on-site)Interim Position (3 Months)Do you have experience leading on financial audits?Are you available to start a new position in early January?Compass Associates are currently working in partnership with a healthcare provider on a highly confidential position, where they are seeking an individual to lead on a detailed financial audit. This is an interim position for a minimum of 3 months and will be based full-time on site at their head office in Cardiff.Responsibilities:Lead and deliver complex financial audits and investigationsPlan, scope, and execute investigations ensuring evidence is gathered, analysed, and documented to a high standardLook in depth at financial records, transactions, contracts, procurement activity, and expense claimsMaintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretionProduce clear, concise, and well-evidenced investigation reports outlining findings, conclusions, and risk assessmentsPresent findings to senior leadership, audit committees, regulators, or external bodies as requiredRequirements:Professionally qualified accountant or auditor (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent experienceSignificant experience leading financial auditsProven ability to analyse financial dataExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing formal investigation reportsIf you would like to be considered for this exciting opportunity, please contact Simon Codling directly.Recommendations:Compass Associates Ltd is acting as a Recruitment Consultancy for this permanent vacancy; we offer £200 worth of John Lewis vouchers for each successful recommendation.
