Assystem have a proud heritage gained over decades both in the UK and overseas, (delivering, supporting, managing) some of the most complex engineering projects in decommissioning, repurposing legacy assets and key new build projects such as Hinkley Point C.Job DescriptionSummary of Role – Programme Performance LeadThe role will support the Infrastructure Programme Manager leading on the performance management of the Major Works Programme.The postholder is responsible for managing the performance of the in-year Major Works Programme, including the review of the baseline & milestones and identifying project issues impacting at a programme level.The postholder is also responsible for programme financial management including the Enabled Work Schedule CP, updating MWP forecasts, submit funding requirements and report on in-year commitments.TASKSKey tasks associated with this role:Review the monthly Programme Summary Report to identify areas for improvement, issues to be resolved, variances and commentsOversee the performance management of the Major Works Programme.Lead on the review of the Major Works Programme baseline and milestones, including the tracking of the completion of projects.Identify and find solutions for issues which are impacting the Major Works Programme.Management of the finances of the Major Works Programme through forecasting, ABC bids and reportingManagement of the EWS CP finances through forecasting, BC Approvals, CP Approvals and reporting.Oversee the development of robust programme performance reporting procedures.Support the Major Works Programme Review and EWS Monthly Management Meeting, ensuring required supporting documentation is collated and presented in a coherent and timely manner.Support the Programme Performance Manager in their role as support to the Programme Performance Lead.QualificationsEssential Skills and ExperienceSkills / experience required for this role:MS O365 proficient.Programme management / governance management experience.Excellent stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.Strong presentation and communication skills.Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.Additional InformationUmbrella contractor role 6 months +Sole UK Nationals only, SC clearance required to commence roleThis role is Hybrid with up to 2 days/week spent on site in HelensburghWe are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
