The Crewing team collaborates closely with crew across the network, base teams, rostering, training, and other operational teams to keep our schedule running smoothly and safely.The RoleAs a Crewing Officer, you’ll play a vital role in managing crew rosters from the day of operation up to three days out, using the AIMS crew system and a range of decision support tools. Reporting to the Senior Crewing Officer, you’ll ensure all rosters are safe, legal, and compliant with local agreements, while also considering operational robustness, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and crew wellbeing.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeØ Maintaining safe and compliant rosters in line with legal requirements, contracts, and company policiesØ Keeping up to date with the latest rules, protocols, and system updatesØ Liaising with ICC teams, base teams, and training delivery to manage and communicate roster changes and disruptionsØ Re-crewing uncovered flight duties, applying sound judgement to balance operational needs, cost, and crew lifestyleØ Managing roster change requests with sensitivity and ensuring all changes are understood and accepted by relevant partiesØ Providing cross-functional support to other operational and planning teams as neededØ Maintaining strong safety culture, reporting incidents, and supporting investigations to improve safety and complianceØ Ensuring effective strategies are in place for managing disruption and maintaining adequate standby coverageWhat We’re Looking ForØ Minimum two years of relevant experience, ideally in airline operations, crewing, or as cabin crewØ Ability to provide effective solutions for last-minute crew changes, considering employee wellbeingØ Strong decision-making skills, especially under pressure and in ambiguous situationsØ Ability to manage multiple demands, shifting priorities, and short deadlinesØ Comprehensive knowledge of EASA and easyJet alleviations is beneficialØ Strong interpersonal, communication, consultative, and influencing skillsØ Team player with a focus on continuous improvementØ High degree of personal and professional flexibilityØ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general PC useØ Proactive approach to personal developmentØ Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering excellent serviceØ Knowledge of AIMS or equivalent is desirablePractacalitiesThis full-time role is based at London Gatwick, working an average of fourteen 12-hour shifts per 28 days, including both day and night shifts.What you’ll get in returnØ Up to 20% maximum bonusØ 5% pension contributionsØ Medical Cash PlanØ Excellent staff travel benefitsØ 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidaysØ Annual credit towards an easyJet holidayØ Various flexible benefits and extrasReasonable AdjustmentsAt easyJet, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace that reflects the diverse customers we serve across Europe.
