Assistant Account Manager Salary: £28,000 - £30,000Location: NorfolkType: Full-time (on-site)An established and fast-growing manufacturer in the beauty and personal care industry is looking for an ambitious Assistant Account Manager to deliver key administrative, organizational, and operational assistance to the Account Management team. With a diverse portfolio and a reputation for quality, this is an opportunity to join a team that rarely recruits and work with the biggest brands shaping the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist client relationship managers by preparing product cost breakdowns and project briefsMaintain up-to-date product pricing, records, and sales orders within internal databases and toolsPrepare, update, and share sales performance summariesOversee a portfolio of low-activity or maintenance-focused client accounts with oversight from senior team members, including occasional direct client contactCoordinate timely delivery of client requirements, such as order processing, inventory monitoring, and forecast updates based on new commitmentsGenerate sales orders, manage pricing adjustments, and conduct regular stock reviews for escalation to relevant team membersHandle all sample workflows: request packaging references and material swatches, submit lab production requests, track submission timelines, and arrange dispatch from storageProcess product compatibility assessments, bulk testing requests, performance validations (e.g., integrity and component testing), and securely archive results with technical teamsInitiate and monitor disposal or clearance orders to completion; manage outbound shipments and follow up on client documentation returnsEnsure comprehensive, well-organised documentation of client interactions, pricing details, orders, samples, and both digital and physical records for easy team accessCoordinate arrangements for client site visits, facility tours, and internal progress meetingsRequirementsPrevious experience in an administrative or operational support roleKeen eye for detail with the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel functionsStrong written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams and external stakeholdersCapability to prioritize tasks, handle pressure, and adapt to shifting demandsCollaborative mindset with a readiness to assist team members across all levelsVersatile and open to adjusting to evolving needs
