National Account Manager - Grocery Looking to step into your first National Account Manager role with P&L responsibility?This role would suit a National Account Executive or Junior National Account Manager with exposure to UK grocery retail who’s ready to take ownership of accounts and progress into a full NAM role.The CompanyAn established, award-winning frozen food manufacturer supplying major UK grocery retailers. The business is known for its private label frozen range and works closely with customers to develop new, on-trend products across meat, vegetarian and dairy.They operate across the UK and Europe and offer a supportive environment with clear long-term progression.The RoleYou’ll manage a portfolio of leading UK grocery retail customers, likely to include Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer.Working day to day with buying teams and internal NPD, Supply Chain and Finance teams, you’ll help grow the accounts while gaining hands-on experience of taking products from initial concept through to launch, with a strong focus on innovation and retailer led product development.The role includes ownership of sales, margins and P&L, with support from the Head of Grocery as you develop into the position.What You’ll Be DoingManaging and developing UK grocery retail accountsBuilding relationships with customer buying teamsOwning sales performance, forecasts and promotionsWorking with NPD teams on new product developmentTracking performance, costs and competitor activityWhat We’re Looking ForExperience as a National Account Executive or Junior NAMExposure to UK grocery retail customersBackground in chilled or frozen food preferredCommercially minded and keen to take on responsibilityWell organised and confident working with customersPackage£50,000 – £55,000 salary20% bonusCompany car or £5,400 car allowanceFull benefits packageLocationHome based role, with regular customer meetings and one day per week at the South Wales head office.Contact For more information, please contact Aidan at FMCG Selection at or call 01943 667280.
