Derivatives & Structured Finance Lawyer (London - including foreign qualified and in-house lawyers)We’re working with a top-tier international law firm to hire an experienced Derivatives & Structured Finance lawyer into a market-leading London team.This role sits in a genuinely global practice advising major investment banks, funds, corporates and industry bodies on high-value, complex derivatives and structured finance transactions across all major asset classes.What you’ll be doingAdvising on OTC derivatives, structured products, repos, securities financing and hedging arrangementsWorking on cutting-edge regulatory capital, liquidity, funding and risk transfer structuresInvolvement in repackagings, structured notes, commodity and project finance hedgingExposure to clearing, collateral, regulatory change and industry-standard documentationOpportunities to work on emerging markets and (if relevant) Islamic finance transactionsWhat they’re looking forEngland & Wales qualified (or equivalent)Strong experience in derivatives and/or structured finance from a leading law firmCommercial, technically strong and comfortable working directly with sophisticated clientsSomeone who enjoys complex work and being part of a collaborative, high-performing teamWhy it’s interestingGenuinely top-end work with major global financial institutionsExcellent reputation in the derivatives spaceBroad asset class exposure and international deal flowSupportive culture with room to grow and specialiseIf you’d like a confidential chat or more detail, drop me a message.
