Our mission is to deliver exceptional experiences to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of service and operational excellence.Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Hotel Manager to oversee the operations of both our Southend-on-Sea and Canary Wharf properties. This is a unique opportunity for a versatile hospitality professional to manage and elevate two distinct hotel environments, ensuring each property operates seamlessly and consistently exceeds guest expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Management: Oversee daily operations for both hotels, ensuring that all departments (front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, etc.) function smoothly and efficiently.Financial Oversight: Develop, monitor, and report on projected income and expenses for both properties. Implement strategies to optimise revenue and control costs.Guest Experience: Ensure a superior guest experience by managing check-ins/outs, addressing guest inquiries and concerns, and maintaining high standards of service.Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage hotel staff. Foster a positive work environment and ensure all team members are aligned with the company’s service standards.Compliance: Ensure both hotels comply with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.Marketing & Promotion: Collaborate on marketing strategies and promotions to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of both properties.Business Development: Develop new business opportunities, build client and corporate relationships, and support sales initiatives to increase occupancy and overall hotel revenue.RequirementsProven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.Strong understanding of hotel operations, financial management, and guest service.Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.Ability to analyse financial reports and develop strategies for improvement.Flexibility to travel between the Southend-on-Sea and Canary Wharf properties as needed.
