Zanda partners with VCs, Founders, CEOs, and CFOs when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.A fast-growing Insurtech Series B scale-up is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to lead the transformation of its finance function during a critical growth phase. This is not a back-office role- you will be driving change, building scalable processes, and shaping financial insight that directly supports aggressive growth plans.The company is scaling rapidly, and finance is at the heart of operational excellence and commercial decision-making. You will own the month-end close, reporting, and operational finance, while embedding processes, controls, and insights that will define the next stage of growth.What you will own:Redesign and take full ownership of month-end close and management reportingBuild scalable financial operations: AP, payroll, revenue recognition, and partner reportingIntroduce dashboards, KPIs, and analytics that drive real-time decision-makingPartner with the CFO and leadership team to influence budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planningProvide actionable insights that support strategic decisions and operational improvementsShape a Finance function fit for scale - supporting Series B growth, operational efficiency, and future fundraisingWho we are looking for:Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) Experience in Insurtech, insurance, or rapidly scaling tech-enabled businessesHands-on operational finance experience: month-end, reporting, AP, payroll, revenue, KPIsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsProven ability to drive change, embed processes, and work at pace in a growth environmentPragmatic, collaborative, solutions-oriented, with a high standard of deliveryPlease note that due to the expected volume of applications, we will only be able to respond to those candidates whose experience matches the requirements of our client.
