Operating under Richardson Oat Milling, Crisp Malt, EDME, and Micronized Food Products (MFP), Richardson supplies the domestic and international food, brewing, and distilling industries.We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled) at our Crisp Malt, Portgordon location.Job PurposeReporting to the Site Manager/Scotland Maintenance Supervisor, the Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer carries out planned and reactive maintenance of all site and plant equipment to ensure the required levels of malt production are achieved, work to be in accordance with GMP, all trade related legislation and best practice.Responsible forCarry out planned and reactive maintenance.Contribute efficiency improvements around all areas of the siteContribute to continuous improvement on site by maintaining a vigilant approach to your work, identifying, and reporting any areas of interest to site managementComplete maintenance paperwork/computer entry in line with company procedures.Recommend improvements to the operation of equipment, where appropriate.Contribute to the installation and commissioning of new equipment and plant, where appropriate.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with:All relevant electrical and mechanical engineering regulations ATEX Regulations Health & Safety at Work Act Company Policies and Procedures Food Safety Regulations Environmental Procedures 18th EditionTo be available for emergency call-out as requiredContinued personal development by keeping up to date with new techniques, processes, and equipment, undertaking training courses and in house training, as required.Maintain high levels of engineering hygiene and housekeeping Carry out other duties from time to time that may be reasonably requestedGeneral Responsibilities:To demonstrate and support a commitment to Equal Opportunities, diversity and customer care in accordance with established good practice and guidelines.To ensure that own personal performance and knowledge are continuously assessed for improvement.To have up to date knowledge of H&S working directives and good practice.
