About the Role:Our client works with local authorities and housing developers across the Midlands, delivering essential connection and jointing services on DNO and IDNO networks. As a Trainee Jointer Mate, you’ll play a vital role in supporting projects that keep communities connected and safe. What You’ll Do:Assist jointers with the preparation and jointing of cables.Learn how to safely excavate and reinstate joint holes on footpaths, newbuild sites, and existing roads.Support the installation and maintenance of street lighting and highway electrical equipment.Drive and operate company vehicles appropriate to the role (training provided).Carry out risk assessments and follow safety procedures at all times.Work as part of a team or independently as your skills develop.Contribute to ICP connection projects and highway lighting projects across regional areas.
