About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Assistant Manager/Supervisor to join a dynamic team and lead the audit process from start to finish. If you're already managing a portfolio of 3-5 clients, this role is for you.You’ll oversee each audit job, supervise junior staff, and lead assignments while working closely with partners and directors. The role includes working with a varied and interesting portfolio of clients including entrepreneurial businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and listed entities. The ideal candidate must have experience with Listed/AIM clients. You’ll also have the chance to get involved in ad hoc specialist assignments.Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE)MUST HAVE FULL UK RIGHT TO WORKKey ResponsibilitiesLead audits from planning to completion, including compliance and substantive testingSupervise and train junior and semi-senior staff, review their work, and provide coachingManage a portfolio of clients including UK groups, private companies, LLPs, and listed entitiesPrepare high-quality work programmes and ensure timely delivery of audit assignmentsParticipate in external planning and completion meetingsHandle technical queries and seek partner support where neededLiaise with clients and internal teams to agree on adjustments and ensure accurate disclosuresAudit tax computations and draft management letters and reportsKeep senior management informed of assignment progressPerform day-to-day duties in the office, including acting as a buddy for new joinersRequirementsACA or ACCA qualifiedExperience with auditing Listed/AIM ClientsPrevious experience in a similar audit-focused roleStrong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, FRS 102, auditing standards, and company lawUnderstanding of corporate tax for reviewing computationsConfident communicator with excellent organisational and multi-tasking skillsWhy This Firm?This is a people-first, forward-thinking firm where individuals are supported, challenged, and heard.
