Job Title: Radiographer (MRI)Hours: Mon-Fri 35 hours per week (no on call commitment).Base Salary: CompetitiveContract: PermanentThe Chenies Mews Imaging Centre is currently looking to expand its team of radiographers and is welcoming applications from radiographers who hold at least 18 months of previous cross-sectional imaging experience. Previous cardiac MRI experience is desirable but training can be given.The Chenies Mews Imaging Centre (WC1E 6HX) is a specialist private diagnostic imaging centre, offering advanced cardiac MRI to both private and NHS patients using Siemens 3T Prisma and 1.5T Aera scanners. Our cardiac service serves a large number of prominent cardiologists and includes congenital imaging, as well as imaging for patients with implanted cardiac devices. The centre also offers a wide range of other MR imaging, including Neuro, MSK, Abdominal, fetal, and MR imaging for several clinical research studies.Key Responsibilities:Perform a wide range of MRI examinations including advanced cardiac MRI, with a focus on maintaining optimal image quality and patient safetyEnsuring that all patient examinations are carried out efficiently and effectively.Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and their families throughout the imaging processEnsure that all relevant clinical documentation is completed accurately and promptlyWork collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide a seamless and integrated service to our patientsContribute to our successful clinical governance and quality improvement programme.About youWe're looking for an enthusiastic and personable radiographer who is able to use their initiative to support the provision of high quality imaging and personalised care.Requirements:You will be an HCPC registered diagnostic radiographer with at least 18 months recent experience as a radiographer working within cross sectional imaging. Applications from radiographers with previous MRI and cardiac MRI experience are highly desirable, but training can be provided on site to the right candidate.You will be willing to actively participate in the organisation's successful governance programme, contributing to the maintenance of our recognition under the Quality Standard for Imaging quality mark, and supporting our compliance with CQC regulations. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to collaborate with various professions to contribute to the multi-disciplinary team that makes CMIC such an interesting, rewarding and efficient unit. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to keep up to date with the latest developments in radiology and imaging is expected.Our radiographers work a 35 hour week (Monday to Friday) with a mixture of early and late duties to cover the 8 hour scanning day. (We are unable to consider applications from candidates interested in long day working).
