Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - CAMHSSalary: £109,725 to £145,478 a yearLocation: LondonStart date: ASAPJob Type: Locum, 12 monthsNumber of programmed activities:10PAs, 7 PAs DCC and 3PAs SPAJob share can be consideredEssentialFull GMC registration with a licence to practise including Specialist Registration or within 6 months of completing CCTSection 12 approved or able to achieve within 3 monthsMRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.Valid UK driving licenceThe post-holder will be expected:To manage an established caseload of currently 80 patients most of whom use medication and have complex needsTo contribute to assessment regarding complex ADHD and other types of complex psychiatric conditions associated with learning disabilitiesWorking with the multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to provide assessments and developing effective and novel treatment approaches for all patientsWorking in partnership with young people, parents and carers to develop evidence-based, effective and agreed care plansTo participate in the weekly team meeting and undertake other duties, as negotiated, that contribute to the good functioning of the clinical teamProviding consultation, advice and appropriate support to professionals in the wider network of the young person and/or familyCoordinating multiagency packages of care, treatment and support for young people and their families with complex mental health problemsAttending/ Chairing CPA, CETR and other MDT and multiagency meetings.To teach and supervise medical staff and other professionals in all aspects of psychiatric careTo provide clinical and professional leadership within the post and take part in management activities and governance processes related to the post or the wider service within which it is embedded.As a senior clinician, to have an integral role in the performance of the team, further development of the service, and the development of the clinical pathways and priorities of the service lineAbout Flexzo AIFlexzo AI is a specialist healthcare talent partner dedicated to connecting exceptional clinicians with forward-thinking NHS and independent healthcare services across the UK.
