They support instrumentation breakdowns, assess safety issues, and contribute to the smooth operation of process environments. We want to connect with Instrument Technicians who demonstrate expertise in a broad range of core skills and experience, including but not limited to:Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship in Instrumentation and Process ControlSVQ Level 3 and/or HNC in relevant discipline (Instrumentation)Maintaining Measurement and Control Equipment for Instrumentation and/or Electrical Equipment What You Might Be DoingAs an Instrument Technician at GSK, you could get involved with: Maintaining, calibrating, and testing a wide range of measurement and control equipment to ensure safety and quality compliance.Diagnosing and repairing instrumentation equipment and system faults, escalating where necessary to enhance performance.Inspecting instruments and control systems to verify correct and safe operation.Supporting installation, commissioning, and validation of new project equipment.Accurately recording and reporting maintenance activities for audit and analysis purposes.Providing coaching and mentoring to apprentices and new technicians.Ensuring all activities comply with safety procedures and permit systems.Conducting thorough handovers to communicate job status effectively.
