Job ResponsibilitiesManage the KYC function of new Baltic members and data subscribers.Develop detailed understanding of membership/data subscription service offerings.Develop detailed understanding of the registration and onboarding of new members and subscribers.Provide input for the improvement of the Membership and data sales onboarding process where this is impacted by the KYC functionAct as cover and assist with ongoing enquiries from members and subscribers and onboarding of new members and subscribers.Conduct monthly review of changes in client’s status to see if further KYC works are required and retain a record for audit purposes.Support the Escrow Business Manager for Escrow onboarding and KYC activities.Conduct retrospective KYC activity in relation to users of Baltic Exchange’s own KYC platform.Job RequirementsPrior experience in operations and/or customer onboarding roles, particularly in shipping, with good interpersonal skills.Legal, regulatory and/or compliance background with knowledge of KYC and DD compliance requirements, particularly in shipping, would be a distinct advantage.Strong attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Excellent English speaking and writing skillsGood understanding of the shipping industry and its players
