JOB – Maintenance Engineer LOCATION – Slough TERM- PermanentSHIFT PATTERN – 4 on 4 off days (7am-7pm) or nights (7pm-7am) SALARY - £35,000 - £55,000, dependent on experienceMy client is a manufacturer of specialist machinery. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Slough on a permanent basis.The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:Strong hands-on Engineering skills – fault-finding, dealing with machinery failures, maintenance, breakdown, repairTime Served Apprenticeship / NVQ / HNC / HND / BTEC / Degree qualified or similar in an Engineering discipline Come from a Mechanical or Electrical background Able to work safely and methodicallyExcellent organisational and communication skillsProven ability to work effectively in a teamA flexible and proactive attitude towards work The Maintenance Engineer role will involve:Working in a team to improve and maintain machinery Being proactive in ensuring the smooth running of all equipment PPM and breakdown avoidance Ensuring documentation is maintained and Health & Safety standards are met Ensuring efficiency and a high standard of work is met throughout the siteWorking with others and being an excellent team player If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible.
