Graduate HVAC Research & Design EngineerAre you a recent engineering graduate with an interest in heat pump technology, sustainability, and innovative HVAC solutions? This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career with a growing HVAC manufacturer, where you’ll be supported, trained, and given a genuine pathway into senior engineering or management roles.In this role, you'll work at the intersection of product design and manufacturing, helping turn ideas into real-world, high-performance HVAC products. You’ll gain hands-on experience, collaborate with experienced engineers, and play a key part in developing the next generation of Air Source Heat Pump systems.What You’ll Be DoingAssist in the design and development of Air Source Heat Pump systems and componentsConvert engineering concepts into manufacturable drawings and documentationSupport production teams with technical queries and process improvementsTake part in testing, validation, and prototype developmentWork with R&D, quality, and project engineering to deliver innovative, sustainable solutionsContribute to continuous improvement activities within design and manufacturingWhat We’re Looking ForA degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related disciplineAn interest in HVAC, refrigeration, renewable energy, or heat pump technologyFamiliarity with CAD software (SolidWorks preferred, training provided)A proactive mindset with strong communication and problem-solving skillsEnthusiasm to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibilityWhat’s on OfferTotal salary £30,000 - £40,000Base salary: £28,000–£35,00010-20% yearly bonus8% pension contribution31 days holidayFull training and mentoring from experienced HVAC engineersGenuine long-term progression into roles such as:Design EngineerR&D EngineerProduct ManagerProduction / Manufacturing EngineerProject EngineerReady to begin your career?Apply today for an informal, confidential chat — we’d love to hear from you.
