A top Legal 500 law firm in Central London are seeking a Senior Legal Cashier to join their accounts team. The successful candidate will join a well organised and busy financial team undertaking a wide range of legal accounting tasks. Our client operates on a hybrid working model with 2 or 3 days per week in the office, as set by the department head, with the remainder being flexible. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to join a busy and growing team and progress their career towards the next stage. The successful candidate will ideally have at least 3-4 years’ experience working in a solicitor’s firm who specialise in Residential and/or Commercial property as well as other areas.Responsibilities for this Legal Cashier role include:Daily bank reconciliationsMonitoring client accounts, checking receipts and notifying fee earnersSpeaking and liaising with solicitors and clientsProcessing BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments, and international transfers.Experience of handling petty cash and expensesAssisting with aged debt managementDealing with and procession client and office account transactionsAssisting with credit controlMaintaining an organised electronic filing systemAssisting in recovering monies owed to the firmEnsuring compliance with SRAAssisting and supporting with month end and year end Dealing with and managing incoming and outgoing payments Essential requirements for this Legal Cashier role:Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm is essential - **Candidates without this will, not be considered**Have full UK rights to workAble to work in a close knit teamHave exceptional communication and organisational experienceSalary will be in the region of £42,000 - £50,000.For more information please contact Victoria Kemp quoting reference 37464PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL (INCLUDING SPAM FOLDER) FOR CONFIRMATION YOUR APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED.In accordance with The Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
