Markerstudy is looking for a Van Trading Manager who can blend commercial sharpness with data-driven thinking to help shape the future of our van proposition.What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be right at the heart of the Van Trading team, supporting the Head of Van Trading to drive profitable growth and keep us ahead in an increasingly competitive market. Expect plenty of variety and a real opportunity to make your mark.Your key responsibilities will include:Developing and delivering trading strategies to optimise revenue and profitabilityAnalysing high-volume trading and performance data to spot trends, patterns, and opportunitiesWorking closely with Pricing, Insurer Relations, Distribution, Operations, Finance and more to align trading activity with wider business goalsPartnering with the MI team to enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI trackingManaging and reviewing our trading footprint to maximise return on initiativesPresenting clear, compelling insight and recommendations to senior stakeholdersContributing to forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modellingProactively identifying opportunities to grow the book and improve profitabilityMonitoring competitor activity and customer behaviour to support tactical decisionsSupporting the Head of Van Trading across all aspects of product managementWhat You’ll BringWe're not just after someone who can crunch numbers — we want someone who can turn data into real commercial action.You should have:Experience within UK Financial ServicesA solid understanding of FCA regulations, particularly GIPP reforms and Consumer DutyStrong analytical capability with genuine enthusiasm for data and insightExcellent Excel skills and confidence with data visualisation tools (Power BI preferred)Experience handling large datasets and complex informationThe ability to translate insight into practical, impactful strategyBackground in trading, insurance, or broader financial services (highly desirable)A self-starter mindset, curiosity, and the drive to make a meaningful impact
