This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people by delivering high-quality, family-centred audiology care.You will work with children from 7 months to 18 years, carrying out a full range of paediatric hearing assessments and hearing aid fittings in line with NHS guidelines. While experience is essential, youll be well supported to integrate into the service and develop within the role.What Youll Be DoingCarry out paediatric hearing assessments using Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA), Play Audiometry, and objective testing including OAEs and tympanometry.Undertake paediatric hearing aid fittings and reviews in line with recognised clinical guidelines.Deliver care that is safe, compassionate, and child-centred, supporting children, young people, and their families throughout the assessment and intervention process.Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to a positive and inclusive service culture.Why This Role? xjdpvnf This post offers a fantastic opportunity for:An experienced paediatric audiologist looking to develop skills with children with complex needsA paediatric audiologist keen to expand their experience in hearing aid fittings and leadership responsibilities within a new team.Essential RequirementsBSc (Hons) in Audiology or equivalentRegistration with HCPCProven experience in paediatric audiology, including VRA and Play AudiometryExperience in hearing aid reviews for patients under 18BSL skills or Deaf Awareness trainingDesirableEvidence of continued professional development (CPD) in paediatric audiology
