Process Safety / HSE ManagerLocation: ManchesterType: PermanentSalary: Competitive + BenefitsIs your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.SRG are currently recruiting for a Process Safety / Health and Safety Manager for a successful and growing manufacturing client based in the Manchester area.Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Process Safety LeadershipDevelop and own the Process Safety Management System (PSMS) aligned with UK law and standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001)Lead HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA studies and define/verify Safety Instrumented Functions (SIF/SIL)Drive compliance with DSEAR and implement robust safety measures.Health & Safety LeadershipEnsure all site activities are conducted safely, maintaining zero TIROwn site risk assessments, SOPs, and integrate with training/competence matricesGovern Permit-to-Work systems and ensure effective LOTOLead accident investigations using root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsManage contractor control and CDM 2015 duties for projects.Engineering ManagementOversee the engineering team, fostering innovation and continuous improvementEnsure preventative maintenance and mandatory checks for equipment reliabilityUtilise CMMS for planned maintenance and KPI reporting. xjdpvnf About you:NEBOSH Diploma (or NVQ Level 6) and IOSH/BOHS membership (GradIOSH/CMIOSH)Chartered status or working towards it & Engineering degree (desirable)Proven leadership in HSE and process safety within a regulated or high-hazard environmentStrong knowledge of DSEAR, process safety, and engineering best practicesCompetence in HAZOP/LOPA, ATEX zoning, and permit-to-work systemsIncident investigation expertise and evidence of delivering risk-reducing improvements.If interested, please apply or contact Julia for more information: /
