About the role (50k-70k + equity)A high number of candidates may make applications for this position, so make sure to send your CV and application through as soon as possible.At Ask Silver, youll be helping to tackle one of the most meaningful, but also hardest, problems in society; scams.Every year, millions of people are socially engineered and fall victim to fraud.My dad (Im Alex, one of the co-founders) was scammed out of most of his life savings, almost 150,000, a few years ago and weve spoken to hundreds of victims and their family members.Were building human-centred technology to keep people safe from scammers .Our tools are free for consumers, and paid for by organisations like banks, businesses and governments that face a huge cost in scams.We launched our AI-powered Scam Checker just over a year ago and have already been featured in the BBC, ITV, Daily Mail and hundreds of other media outlets . We already signed Metro Bank PLC as our first customer and are onboarding some of the biggest banks in the UK .As our fourth engineer, youll have a huge amount of autonomy to shape what we build and how we build it.
