BESS Engineer - Battery Storage and Power Generation - Rugby - Up to 45,000 About the company We''re looking for a BESS Engineer to join a well-established, growing energy solutions business. This is a hands-on role with both workshop and national field-based work. You will be playing a key role in the expansion of the organisation, focusing on repairs, fault-diagnosis and reactive call-outs across Battery Energy Storage Systems and Power Generators. BESS Engineer - The Details 40,000 - 45,000 basic salary Overtime available Workshop-based role in Rugby with national field-based work Company vehicle included Clear progression route for long-term development People-first company culture BESS Engineer - Requirements & Responsibilities Min. 2 years hands-on experience on Battery Energy Storage Systems and Power Generators Preferred: NVQ in Plant Maintenance / Electrical Engineer qualifications Must be flexible with national call-outs and staying away from home when required Experienced with Victron Systems Experienced with fault-finding and repairs Strong understanding of Electrical principles and practices Knowledge of System design principles and methodologies Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues Great communication skills - both verbal and written Customer-Focused with a commitment to delivering an excellent service Effective planning and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy A valid driving license with no more than 6 points This position offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth.
