Youll work in a fast paced environment, contributing to the inspection and certification of a wide range of mechanical hardware, from small fixtures to complex defence systems.Youll play a vital role in ensuring that our hardware is manufactured to the highest quality and design standards, supporting programmes to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.Key responsibilitiesInspect and certify mechanical builds to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Maintain a safe and organized workspace, following all 5S principles.Ensure all manufacturing activities meet time, cost, and quality requirements.Control and process any nonconformances correctly.Complete and certify all relevant manufacturing documentation.Collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.Contribute feedback to improve manufacturing processes and outcomes.Maintain excellent workmanship standards and consistently deliver high-quality results.What were looking forEssential qualifications:Advanced Level or Level 3 Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing.Level 3 academic qualification (ONC, Diploma, etc.) in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing.Level 3 vocational qualification (NVQ) in Mechanical Engineering / Manufacturing.Skills and experience:Strong ability to read and interpret assembly drawings and planning instructions.Experience inspecting mechanical hardware for damage and build integrity.High attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ability to consistently produce work to exceptional standards.Awareness of ESD/FOD best practices (an advantage). xjdpvnf Flexible, proactive, and adaptable approach to work.
