You will lead complex firmware developments while supporting and mentoring junior engineers.Your responsibilities will include:Leading VHDL FPGA design from specification to verified hardwareDecomposing system requirements into robust FPGA architecturesDesigning, implementing, testing and debugging FPGA firmwareDeveloping test benches and verification environmentsProducing technical documentation and supporting firmware releasesConducting FPGA and VHDL design reviewsMentoring engineers and providing technical leadershipValidating designs using lab test equipmentOwning multiple work packages and reporting progressOccasional UK travel may be requiredYoull work closely with Project Managers, Systems Engineers and Technical Leads to deliver mission-critical electronic solutions.Skills & Experience:10+ years experience in FPGA designStrong VHDL design, implementation and debugging experienceExperience working on systems with multiple FPGAsBackground in Radar, DSP or high-reliability electronic systemsProven delivery to time and budgetStrong written and verbal communication skillsQualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant Engineering disciplineIf youre a Contract Principal FPGA Design Engineer in Enfield looking for a technically challenging role with real project ownership and leadership responsibility, this opportunity offers excellent long-term potential. xjdpvnf Apply today or reach out directly for a confidential chat.
