This role is critical to ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of machinery, electrical systems, and chemical processes. Youll manage both preventive and corrective maintenance programs, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing maintenance teamManage task allocation, scheduling, and performance trackingMaintain accurate records of attendance, training, and reporting2. Maintenance OperationsImplement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtimeRespond swiftly to equipment failures and coordinate repairsCollaborate with production teams to minimise disruption3. Equipment & Systems ManagementEnsure all equipment meets operational and safety standardsMonitor KPIs for performance, downtime, and costOptimise use of CMMS for data tracking and reporting4. Health, Safety & ComplianceEnforce safety policies and regulatory complianceConduct audits and risk assessmentsMaintain documentation of inspections and corrective actions5. Budget & Resource ManagementManage maintenance budgets and procurementMonitor inventory and coordinate timely replenishment6. Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process optimisation and cost savingsLead initiatives to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime7. Project ManagementPlan and execute minor projects and CAPEX initiatives xjdpvnf Oversee contractor activities and ensure complianceQualifications & Experience:Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering35 years in a supervisory maintenance role within manufacturingExperience in adhesives or chemical manufacturing is a plusProven ability to develop maintenance strategies and manage timelinesKey Skills:Strong leadership and team managementExcellent problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesProficiency in mechanical, electrical, and process equipment maintenanceExperience with CMMS and Microsoft OfficeIn-depth knowledge of HSE regulationsEffective communication across all levels
