Using our fleet of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), we provide safer, lower-carbon and more efficient solutions for clients operating in subsea telecoms, offshore energy, environmental monitoring and hydrography.Role OverviewThe Bids & Tenders Manager is responsible for managing the preparation and submission of high-quality bids and tenders for XOCEAN’s USV survey services across all regions and market sectors.This role leads the coordination of bid responses from opportunity qualification through to final submission and handover, ensuring proposals are compelling, compliant and delivered to deadline. The Bids & Tenders Manager works closely with colleagues across Commercial, Operations, Finance, Legal and Project Delivery to present clear, competitive and customer-focused proposals.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities will include:Leading the end-to-end preparation and submission of bids and tenders for XOCEAN’s survey servicesCoordinating cross-functional inputs to develop high-quality, compliant and customer-focused proposalsManaging bid schedules, reviews and approvals to ensure submissions are delivered on timeSupporting commercial and pricing inputs and contributing to the review of contractual and risk considerationsEnsuring effective handover of successful bids and contributing to post-bid reviews and continuous improvementRequirements: Essential Skills / Attributes and ExperienceExperience in a bids, tenders or proposals environment with a track record of meeting external deadlinesStrong written communication skills with excellent attention to detailGood commercial awareness, organisational capability and ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective communicator with a collaborative, customer-focused and results-oriented approachDesirable ExperienceExperience in marine survey, offshore, energy, telecoms or related sectorsExposure to contract tendering, pricing or commercial reviewProject coordination or delivery experienceApplyApplicants must demonstrate how they meet the essential criteria.
