Responsibilities include building and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly software applications, and ensuring seamless integration across all platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional team to deliver innovative solutions tailored to our customers’ needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPlatform & Application DevelopmentDesign, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack web applications supporting insurance quoting, policy administration, renewals, MTAs, and cancellations.Build and maintain internal admin portals (broker/ops/compliance) and customer-facing journeys.Ensure robust integration with third-party services including:Insurers / MGAsAggregators (e.g. comparison platforms)Payment providersVehicle and customer data APIs Architecture & Technical LeadershipLead architectural decisions across front-end, back-end, and infrastructure.Champion clean code, reusability, performance, and security.Own and document technical designs, APIs, and data models.Support the transition from externally developed systems to fully owned internal IP. Insurance & Regulatory AwarenessDevelop systems aligned with FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, and PROD requirements.Ensure accurate handling of:Premiums, IPT, commission splitsBordereaux, claims data, and insurer reportingAudit trails and data integrity Collaboration & DeliveryWork closely with Product, Compliance, Operations, and Senior Leadership.Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.Support junior developers and contribute to setting development standards and best practices.Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and release management.Qualifications5+ years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer, with at least 2 years at Senior level.Strong back-end experience with one or more of:Node.js / TypeScript.NET / C#PHP / LaravelStrong front-end experience with:React, Vue, or AngularModern JavaScript / TypeScriptAPI-first development (REST / JSON).Strong database experience (SQL and/or NoSQL).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and deployment workflows.Nice to HaveExperience with insurance admin or policy management systemsBordereaux, claims, or financial reporting experienceMulti-brand or multi-entity platform exposureExperience rebuilding or migrating legacy insurance platformsHas previously built integrations to major comparison sites Why Join Ping Insure Group?Help build and a modern, in-house insurance platformFlexible, remote-friendly workingCompetitive salary and benefitsLong-term growth opportunities within a scaling insurance group.Salary - £50-75k depending on experience and location
