Bid Manager - Commercial & Sales - EV Charging/Infrastructure - Wales - Hybrid - £50k-£65k + bonusWe are looking for a commercially minded Bid Manager to operate at the centre of a fast-moving sales environment, owning bids from early opportunity through to contract award.This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who enjoys shaping strategy, working closely with Sales, and taking responsibility for outcomes.What You’ll DoWork as part of the sales enginePartner closely with Sales from opportunity identification to submission and awardContribute to pipeline reviews, forecasting and bid / no-bid decisionsSupport commercial positioning, pricing logic and risk assessmentEnsure alignment between what is sold, what is bid and what is deliveredOwn bid strategyLead bid strategy including win themes, solution shaping and commercial narrativeRun bid kick-offs, strategy sessions and internal reviewsTranslate operational capability into clear, compelling value for clientsSupport tender interviews and presentations alongside senior stakeholdersDeliver high-quality tendersWrite and coordinate persuasive, score-focused tender responsesEnsure full compliance with evaluation criteria and submission requirementsManage multiple bids concurrently without compromising qualityPersonally own final reviews and submissionsEngage the marketIdentify and qualify new public sector opportunitiesEngage early with contracting authorities to shape approach and positioningLead post-award feedback discussions and apply learning to future bidsContinuously improveTrack competitor behaviour and market trendsCapture feedback to improve win rates and scoring consistencyBuild and maintain a strong, reusable bid libraryWhat Success Looks LikeClear, well-defined bid strategies with strong differentiationHigh-quality, compliant submissions that score well and convertA live, accurate pipeline aligned with sales prioritiesStrong working relationships with Sales and senior stakeholdersWhat You’ll BringProven experience leading and winning public sector tendersStrong commercial judgement and an outcome-focused mindsetExcellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skillsConfidence operating in a fast-paced, growth environmentA collaborative approach and comfort working closely with SalesWhy This RoleDirect access to senior decision-makersGenuine influence over bid strategy and commercial outcomesA role that sits at the heart of growth, not on the sidelinesAn environment that values clarity, quality and deliveryIf this role is of interest, please apply directly.
