The role required strong understanding of electrical distribution, 3D CAD design, military-grade standards and cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, system and manufacturing teams.Key Responsibilities:Design and model electrical routing paths within complex gearbox and drivetrain assembliesCreate 3D harness design using CAD tools (e.g. Solid Edge electrical, NX, Solid works)Develop harness schematics connector table, splice documentation and BOMSCollaboration with gearbox and mechanical subsystems engineers to route cabling through high-vibration, high-temperature, or constrained environmentsPerform interface definition for brackets, clamps, grommets and shielding solution Apply MIL-STD, DEF-STAN, and other relevant defence electrical design standardsEnsure EMC/EMI integrity, environmental sealing, and survivability under shock, vibration.Produce engineering drawings, harness manufacturing packs, and installation instructionsSupport prototype builds, integration testing, and root-cause investigationsWe are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day.
