The role is based in Durham and centres on a 12-hour continental shift pattern. The shift pattern enables 1 week off per month within the rotation and you also work less weekends over the course of a calendar year compared to the traditional 4 on 4 off system. You must be open to working both indoors and outdoors with the elements.THE ROLE Operating within a high-volume manufacturing facilityWorking to maintain plant site facilitiesPerforming asset strip down and repairWorking to maintain automated production linesWorking in a shift team consisting of 3 people electrical/mechanical/lead. xjdpvnf Optimising manufacturing processes improving efficiencies, reducing wastage, enhancing yield and reducing costFault finding and repairing large complex electrical equipmentWorking with PLC systems to perform fault finding and analysisWorking to deliver planned and reactive maintenanceUpdating maintenance schedules and creating reportsTHE PERSONTime served recognised Electrical ApprenticeshipEducated to ONC/HNC equivalents Electrically Biased Maintenance TechnicianAble to undertake fault finding and diagnostic work proficient with the use of PLCsAble to work with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, motors, gears, pumps, valves, etcAble to effectively identify and resolve manufacturing issuesHolding multi skilled capabilities including bench skills, basic fabrication and basic weldingProficient with ITExcellent communicatorAble to abide by H&STO APPLYPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to our Engineering Consultant Tony Hutchinson who is leading the search.
