This is a great opportunity to be part of a modern engineering environment using uptodate cloud technologies and contributing to highly impactful solutions.About the role:Youll be involved in the full software development lifecycle from designing and building new features to testing, reviewing code, and helping to deliver highquality, scalable cloud services. Youll work closely with other engineers, testers and product team members, contributing to sprint planning, standups and reviews.Key responsibilities:Develop clean, maintainable, highquality Java code.Build and maintain cloudbased services.Write unit tests and contribute to automated test coverage.Take part in design and code reviews.Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment to meet sprint goals.Document your work and share knowledge with the wider team.Essential skills:Strong commercial experience with Java.Experience developing cloud services.Good understanding of unit testing and quality assurance.Comfortable working in Agile teams.Nicetohave skills:Knowledge of DevSecOps tools such as Tekton, ArgoCD or SonarQube.Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift.Familiarity with the Quarkus framework.Frontend development experience using Angular.Security clearance:You must already have, or be eligible to obtain, SC Clearance.Working pattern:This role requires around 60% onsite work each week. Standard hours are 35 per week, worked over 4.5 days between 7am and 7pm (flexible within business needs).
