Hiring Now: Tender Engineer, MiddlesbroughEmployment Type: PermanentIf you want to know about the requirements for this role, read on for all the relevant information.Our client is a leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction contractor within the marine and renewable energy engineering sector.Due to sector growth they are looking to add an experienced Tender Engineer to their team in Middlesbrough.As a Tender Engineer you will support the Tender Manager in organising and managing the tender process of one or more large multidisciplinary and complex projects, from the receipt of the invitation from the contracting party to the submittal of the offer.Your responsibilities as a Tender Engineer:Organising and managing less complex project-based and content-based tender processes;Compiling and writing tender documents;Organising the follow-up and hand-over of successful tenders;Evaluation of tender processes.The ideal background of a Tender Engineer:A Bachelors or a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil EngineeringExtensive experience in a similar position, preferably in the offshore industryExperience in the execution of hydraulic engineering and/or civil technical projects is an advantageKnowledge of contracts and an understanding of commerceCustomer minded and a representative attitudeAn analytically strong colleague who is result and collaboration mindedA person who brings people together with outstanding communication and social skillsWhat's in it for you?Our client is a reputable leader in their field and can provide a thriving career environment as well as a comprehensive employment benefits package, that includes the following: hybrid working options, an annual salary review, company bonuses, enhanced annual leave and pension, plus much more.
