They deliver high-performance solutions at scale across some of the most highly regulated and challenging industrial environments, including energy, water, renewables, and manufacturing.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Energy team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects delivering upgrades and modifications to Transmission substation protection and control systems for National Grid and other customers within the Power Transmission industry.This role will suit a Project Manager with experience in engineering or regulated environments, ideally within power transmission or a similar sector. Occasional travel to customer sites will be required.Key ResponsibilitiesManage multiple projects valued between 50k and 600k, from initiation through to successful deliveryEnsure projects are delivered on time, to specification, within budget, and to high levels of customer satisfactionTake full financial responsibility for assigned projectsLead, motivate, and manage teams of hardware, software, and installation engineersManage and coordinate subcontractorsEnsure compliance with Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety standards, working closely with internal Q,E,H&S specialistsHold regular progress and review meetings with clientsSupport future business growth through excellent project delivery and strong customer relationshipsEssential RequirementsProven project management experience within an engineering or regulated industry (power transmission/energy preferred)Strong experience planning and scheduling using Microsoft ProjectExcellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively xjdpvnf with internal and external stakeholdersCommercially astute, with the ability to identify and mitigate technical and commercial risksDemonstrable track record of delivering projects to timescale, margin, quality, and customer satisfaction targetsExperience managing subcontractorsStrong leadership and people-management skillsFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel, including occasional overnight staysDesirable RequirementsExperience working under NEC3 / NEC4 contractsAPM Practitioner Qualification or equivalent (or working towards)Experience with project proposals and bid support
